Teaching Activities
Teaching activities from Tanya Moore
I was at a busy train station waiting for my train, a mum with her 2 young children came and sat down near me. She was looking up news on her iphone. Her son (who is about age 7) had lots of energy and was walking around the platform. Their train was just about to pull up, I suddenly remember I had an activity in my bag, it was a spanish/english role-play. I asked the boy if he wanted to learn Spanish, he got very excited and said ‘yes!’. So, I gave him the sheet and explained that the colours match up so he can work out what the words mean. He walked towards the train with his head in the paper. His mum smiled at me and said ‘thanks’.
Kindness doesn’t cost anything and it can make a big difference to someone else’s day.

I teach people about pay it forward, and from talking about it so much, other people are paying it forward. In Bali, a friend is there teaching teenagers computing and business skills, he is teaching them about pay it forward and the older children teach the younger ones. Since teaching my partner how to set up a website, he has taught quite a few other people how to do the same. PIF is a worldwide movement that starts with us. It spreads miles and miles very quickly. Every day look for opportunities in which you can pay it forward.
