SPACIOUS is a movement of people who are into equal parts recess, celebrating people, dancing, breaking down stale paradigms, and asking great questions. We’re not above upsetting power structures, and we create ways to engage and help the marginalized, to feast and play with good people, and to live with childlike curiosity and wonder.

SPACIOUS is the product of years of planning and dreaming. When I, Cary Umhau, Founder & Creative Director, first began imagining SPACIOUS, I didn’t foresee how much richer the project could be if I partnered with someone really different from me.  Then along came Joey Katona, whom I invited to help create the venture, making him Co-Founder & Cultural Catalyst.  And SPACIOUS was born.

We’re planning for a SPACIOUS future as we build a movement of people who don’t want to live with limits any longer. There’s always more. Come and explore.
