Pay it Forward Story from Sara Lyerla
Yesterday, when we arrived downtown, we parked infront of a Cathedral. There were about 8 homeless men and women sleeping infront of each door and window. The scene kind of caught me off guard, I guess because there were so many. Then, all of a sudden, 3 cars pulled up. Women, men, and children all piled out with ziplock bags. These bags were filled with toiletries and food. They woke all of the homeless people up and told them it was time to eat. It was so amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. I want to go back next weekend, with our kids, and do the same thing. It was pretty awesome.
