Did my pay it forward yesterday. I was in the cafe at the hospital and the woman in front of me tried to pay for her purchase with a debit card. Problem is cafe only takes cash. I told her not to worry I would take care of it. When she asked me what she could do to thank me I answered “Just pay it forward.” She said she could not wait to go home and tell her kids that someone did for her what she has been trying to teach them to do for others.
