Story from Jane Holloway

The lady in the hospital bed next to me was sobbing yesterday. She has MS and paralyzed from her waist down. It’s her daughters birthday today and her family live hours away from Brisbane. They are on welfare and not much money between them. She was crying because her husband didn’t have enough petrol to bring the daughter to see her. I asked if he had enough petrol to get here and she said yes. I told her to ring him and tell him to come down and gave her $100 to use towards paying for petrol to get home. I made the family’s day and seeing them smile tonight was worth it.
