Pay it Forward DAY February Newsletter – Let the Build up to April 26th Begin!

Hello!

We are only 72 days away from Pay it Forward Day 2012, so I wanted to update you about some great things that are happening this year. The key word is more!

More Countries:

In 2011, people from 35 countries were involved in the annual day of altruistic goodwill. So far this year, we have added three more countries. Welcome Denmark, Georgia, and Austria!

More Proclamations:

We are making a major push to get as many country, state and city governments to proclaim Thursday, April 26, 2012 as Pay it Forward Day. In 2011, we had 24 proclamations (seven states and 17 cities).  So far for 2012, we have more selfless people working to obtain 39 proclamations (17 states, 21 cities, and Washington D.C.). Check out the Pay it Forward Day website to see if you can help us obtain a proclamation from your country, state or city.

More Ways to Get Involved:

We really beefed up the Get Involved section of our website to include moreways for you to support the Pay it Forward movement.  It includes the following:

• Pay it Forward Ideas (individuals, businesses, schools/universities)
• Sign Up to Help!
• Obtain a Proclamation
• Join the Listserv
• Share your story
