Pay It Forward and The Newton Project have partnered to provide several exciting options on how we can join forces with your organization to help you raise funds, awareness of your cause, or simply start your own pay-forward movement.   Both organizations share the belief that our actions, however small, can and do affect the lives of others.  Our hope in partnering is to further the overall Pay It Forward movement by combining the power and momentum of the Pay It Forward Foundation with the creativity and tracking ability of The Newton Project.

Partner Wristbands
We have created a unique wristband that is only available through one of our group options.  Each wristband contains the PIF and Newton Project logo’s in addition to a unique identifier for your organization.

Tracking the Impact:  We believe in empowering people to make a difference by showing them the impact that their actions have made on the lives of others. Our group options are founded upon the classic pay-it-forward concept with one new addition that makes all the difference:  Each wristband contains a unique ID number—registered at www.thenewtonproject.com —to enable tracking on the Newton Project website, creating a visual demonstration of every life the wristband has touched and the inspirational stories associated with each change of hands.  Once you have been a part of the project then you can always login and see where your wristband has been and the impact that it has made along the way.  Most people want to make a difference in the world, but don’t know how or where to begin.  The Newton Project, in partnership with the Pay It Forward Foundation, has found a way to help by quantifying the impact your efforts have made.

Online Fundraising
Customize our wristband with a unique ID prefix for your organization and sell it through The Newton Project website.

If you’re like us you are pretty tired of the old standard fundraisers.  Managing fundraisers can be a nightmare, the product is sometimes underwhelming and the percentage of money you get at the end of the day is usually very low.  We make online fundraising fun and easy!  Each wristband costs $5 and The Newton Project in partnership with Pay It Forward will donate 20% of the purchase price of each wristband to you or your specified beneficiary:

• Step 1: The Newton Project helps you create a unique prefix for wristband ID numbers
• Step 2: We create a private shopping cart for your fundraiser and a link to be used during promotion of your online sale.
• Step 3: Do you use Twitter? We’ll give you a pre-written tweet to send to followers announcing the online sale. We’ll also supply a pre-written post for your Facebook page.
• Step 4: We’ll provide an email template you can use to promote the effort among employees, members and others.
• Step 5: You will receive sales reports and contributions based on wristbands sold.

• Step 6: As employees or members receive and register wristbands, we create a custom “account dashboard” for each that they use to pay their wristband forward and track the details of its journey for years to come.

• Step 7: As wristbands are registered, your unique prefix will allow your organization to follow and view how many lives your wristbands have touched along the way (and tells their associated stories) through your customized online scoreboard.
